SKU # 88034400042 GERMAN STYLE DINNER 1 ½ pounds flank steak ½ jar Polstar Cucumber in Brine, sliced Cut the flank steak into thin filets; about ¼ inch thick and 3 inches wide. Generously spread one side of each filet with mustard to taste. Place bacon, onions and pickle slices on each filet and form into a roll. Use string or toothpicks to hold the roll together. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Place the rolls in the butter and sauté until browned. Pour in 2 ½ cups of water and add the bouillon cube; stirring to dissolve the bouillon cube. Simmer the rolls for about an hour. Makes 6 servings. SALMON SALAD 1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni 1 (14.75 ounce) can salmon, drained ring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. When pasta has come to room temperature, combine it with tomatoes, green onions, cucumbers, salmon, mayonnaise, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. Chill before serving. Makes 8 servings. |
